Almer Manor is managed by Christina.
Minimum stay for this property is 2 nights.
Experience quintessential English charm at its very finest at Almer Manor. This idyllically set Georgian country residence has the wow factor in spades! It is the perfect setting for group get-togethers with family or friends. Whether you’re looking for relaxation in the Dorset countryside, or a venue in which to share a special occasion.
Surrounded by peaceful parkland, Almer Manor offers an exclusive escape. If you are staying for a celebration, take a look at the bespoke catering packages as an added extra – who wouldn’t love a private chef! The house is incredibly well equipped for entertaining, featuring oodles of space, indoors and out. It even has its own games room!
And whilst this gorgeous house is itself an attraction, its central location will soon tempt you away. The surrounding area is packed to the brim with things to do. Tons of fun for the family, activities, trips to the coast, pampering, amazing eateries…..the list is almost endless! There really is something for everyone, whatever their interests, whatever their age.
Whilst Almer Manor is ideal for large parties, there’s no danger of feeling squashed in. With ample living space; a lounge and a snug (perfect for the kids!). A spacious dining area seating up to 20, and a well-equipped kitchen and larder space for keen cooks. Plus, you can keep the damp coats and muddy shoes at bay with a well-appointed boot room. And if you need to seek complete sanctuary, escape into one of the gorgeous eight uniquely styled bedrooms.
The entire house has been thoughtfully and beautifully renovated. Contemporary styling blending impeccably with elegant country chic creating an impressive yet inviting ambience.
Almer Manor has plenty to tempt even the most indoorsy of people out into the fresh air. Surrounded by expansive outdoor space, you’ll be spoiled for choice! Decamp into the outdoor dining space – there’s plenty of space for everyone on the two feasting tables! And you’ll have your pick of cushioned sofas, armchairs and swing seats for socialising.
Feeling more active? Try your hand at the selection of outdoor games; giant Jenga, boules and rounders to name a few. Or for Wimbledon enthusiasts, pick up a racket and head to the tennis court. And after all that exertion, you’ll be more than ready to test out the wood fired hot tub!
There is so much to do, the hardest part will be deciding what you’ll do first! Families may fancy a day by the sea at Sandbanks, only 15 miles away. Or if you prefer something a little more educational, yet sea-themed – visit the Bournemouth Oceanarium or the Sea Life Centre in Weymouth. The Beaulieu Motor Museum is not to be missed, and The Dinosaur Museum is a must for dino lovers!
For those keen to be a little more active, there are tons of activities to choose from; hiking and biking are a given, but perhaps you’d like to be more adventurous? Country pursuits, kayaking, Segways and horse riding for starters. But if you’re looking for something altogether more relaxing, unwind with a round of golf, a spot of fishing or treat yourself to a spa day.
