A vintage fold down table for two – ideal for when the weather isn’t playing ball. A perfect place to sleepily enjoy your breakfast hamper! And a nod to modernity with a DAB radio. Tealights and lanterns create a romantic ambience, while the wood burning stove will keep you toasty and warm. Cuddle up together, chat long into the night and enjoy the stunning simplicity of your cosy bolthole.

Outside

With beautiful views towards the historic village in one direction and rolling hills in the other – your eyes are in for a treat! Close by, you’ll find your own private washroom. Sleek, modern, and sparkling clean. It provides all the facilities you’ll need, including instant hot water -just the tonic after a long day walking the hills! Enjoy a morning coffee at the bistro set before you set off for the day. On your return, head out for drinks on the ‘Gin Deck’, an elevated platform ideally placed for a holiday gin or two! There is also ‘the den’ a converted shed, styled like the hut with comfy chairs, coffee table & field views. Cook dinner for two on the BBQ grill. And then, much later, strike up the flames in the firepit and cuddle close. And if the skies are clear, enjoy a spot of stargazing.

Nearby

Both welcoming and friendly, the village of Eyam itself is a lovely place to potter around. Occupying a place in the history books, due to the heroic actions of the residents during the Black Death in 1665. Visit the Eyam Museum to find out more. There is also Eyam Hall, local shops, a tearoom and a cafe. Wander around The Hannah Bennet Sculpture Garden, and dine at the fabulous bar and bistro, Bloom bar & grill. And as this is The Peak District, there’s a huge variety of activities and attractions nearby. For lovers of the outdoors, hike, bike, climb or even take a swim at Hathersage outdoor heated pool. We’re surrounded by lovely towns, including Bakewall. And local country houses don’t come much more famous than Chatsworth House. And for something a little different, try an underground boat trip at Speedwell Cavern. There is something for everyone!
