Located in North Devon, close to Lynton and Lynmouth, is Moor and Sea Holidays. Offering the best of both worlds, are these eight lovely stone built lodges. South facing to make the most of the sunshine, while being perfectly placed to appreciate the stunning views. Skylark, Kingfisher and Rock Pit all sleep up to four people, while being dog friendly. With Kittiwake Lodge, Shearwater and Linnet also sleeping four. These are pet-free making them perfect if you suffer from allergies. The two larger lodges, Fern and Whitebeam each sleep up to eight people, and are both dog friendly. So, whether you’re travelling as a couple looking for a romantic escape away from it all. As a family or with friends looking for a break with lots to do – there is a lodge at Moor and Sea Holidays suited to you. Or why not book more than one lodge together for a larger group getaway.

Inside

Each lodge at Moor and Sea Holidays offers a fresh, bright living space. Thanks to their south facing vantage, each is flooded with beautiful natural light. An open plan living space is the hub of each lodge. A comfy seating area comes with a Smart TV loaded with Amazon Prime and Netflix. A dining space for your whole party and a well equipped kitchen. This comes with an oven and grill, ceramic hob, fridge and microwave. Meanwhile, the two larger lodges have a full sized fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. They also have a cosy snug space with a view – ideal for curling up with a good book! Lodges sleeping a maximum of four people each have a comfy double bedroom, with the second bed being a sofa bed in the lounge. These also have one bathroom, which comes with either a shower unit or a shower over a bath. Meanwhile Fern and Whitebeam have two double bedrooms, plus a twin and the additional sofa bed. These each have two lovely bathrooms. Ideal for two families, or for those travelling with extended family or friends.

Outside

Step out of your lodge and enjoy all Moor and Sea Holidays has to offer! Starting with your private terrace space which allows you to moon over those gorgeous far-reaching views to your heart’s content and enjoy Exmoor’s velvety dark skies by a fire pit. Stay on site and discover the twelve acre gardens and go walking along the wild meadow paths. Keen artists, or for those who are budding to discover a new creative hobby are welcome to use the art room (subject to availability). And the handy shared utility space has a couple of communal washing machines, tumble dryers as well as ironing facilities and a chest freezer. This is alongside a lending library, which as well as books, has a variety of indoor and outdoor games.

Nearby

The lovely lodges at Moor and Sea Holidays are located close to the historical harbour town of Lynmouth. A great place to explore, with its range of independent shops and eateries. Made even more exciting that it’s connected to Lynton via the famous Victorian water-powered funicular Cliff Railway. And why not take a picnic and enjoy a walk through the Valley of Rocks. Enjoy the beautiful beaches of North Devon; Lee Bay, Broadsands, Woolacombe and Heddon’s Mouth are just a few. Within a thirty minute drive, animal lovers can be at Exmoor Zoo. While little ones will enjoy a roarsome day out at The Dinosaur and Wildlife Park. Take a trip to Broomhill Sculpture Garden and treat yourself to a meal at their restaurant. Or indulge in a Devon Cream Tea at the tea room at Marwood Hill Gardens.
