And not only does it look good, it’s a very special place to stay. Perfect for couples in need of some ‘us’ time. This luxurious glamping pod occupies an idyllic, private rural spot. Well, private with the exception of the odd free roaming alpaca!

Located a mile outside the lovely Welsh village of Llanarth, where you’ll find the village shop, plus a pub. And your stay offers plenty of opportunities to head to the coast and explore the beautiful beaches and beyond.

Inside

You’ll find the door to The Tri-Pod amid the huge expanse of glazing to its frontage. Enter into the open plan living space. Rustic wood panelling adorns the walls throughout, perfectly complementing the contemporary styling with a nod to the country location. The lounge has a comfortable leather sofa, in prime position in front of the inbuilt television unit. And to create a romantic ambience, the modern electric fireplace provides a warm, flickering glow. The small, yet perfectly formed kitchen has all you’ll need. Including an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. And there’s a dining set for two to devour those delicious meals. You’ll also find the beautiful shower room on the ground floor. With the bedroom located at the top of the winding staircase. The king size bed is cosily situated to make the most of the amazing far-reaching sea views ahead.

Outside

The glazing of The Tri-Pod works to create an invisible divide between inside and out. Meaning, therefore, that the outdoor space is just as important as the interior. You’ll love the triangular deck, designed to appear as if a shadow of the building itself. From your decking, you have a space undercover to shield from the rain. There’s no use pretending you’re not in Wales after all! Here you’ll find your outdoor furniture (movable should the sun shine!) And your private hot tub to soak away the day in style. All of these preside over some very impressive country and sea views. To the side, you’ll find your outdoor shower – perfect for a reinvigorating refresh. And at the very tip of your triangular deck, a handy firepit. Whether your aim is to take the chill off the evening or achieve the perfect level of marshmallow gooeyness. This is the spot where you’ll end your evening, taking in the beauty of the twinkling night sky.

Nearby

One of the benefits of staying at The Tri-Pod is the close proximity to Ceredigion’s Coast. With the charming harbour town of Aberaeron and the seaside town of New Quay both around ten minutes away. Aberaeron is on both the Coastal Way and Wales Coast Path if you fancy a hike. Or simply settle for a wander around the harbour and enjoy some delicious fresh seafood with your views. Take a boat trip from New Quay and spot the Cardigan Bay bottlenose dolphin pods. This being one of only two places in the UK where you can spot dolphins, it’s a very special experience. Or visit the National Trust managed Llanerchaeron. A traditional Welsh country estate with an eighteenth century villa and gardens. Take in the history and appreciate the beauty of your surroundings.
