Prepare to be mesmerised, because this property presides over some truly incredible views. Its tranquil location is in the hamlet of Little Langdale, within the heart of the Lake District. The house overlooks valleys and fells including Lingmoor and Wrynose Pass. To see is to believe just how beautifully appointed the house is. As Lowfield House is a home that is built to make the best of the surrounding scenery. With perfectly located floor to ceiling windows, as well as wonderful outdoor space, this is a very special holiday home. Sleeping up to ten guests in five gorgeous bedrooms, all coming with their own ensuite. It’s a quirky, multi-level space which has been renovated to perfection. Inside

The first thing you’ll notice about Lowfield House is how bright and light it is. Neutrally decorated to reflect the light pouring in through the expanse of glazing, drawing your eyes directly to those views. The entrance hall takes you straight through to the spacious open plan living and dining space, with doors to the outside. Or head right into the well-equipped kitchen. With an island unit it’s bang on trend. But it doesn’t just look good, as it’s extremely well equipped. With a fridge freezer, toaster, microwave, kettle, a double oven and a six-ring hob – essential for morning fry ups! Head down the stairs from the entrance hall into the lovely family room, with a laundry room to the side. Or upstairs to a picture-perfect reading snug. From here as you head up the flights of stairs, you’ll find five lovely bedrooms. Two being a super king, a king, and two twin bedrooms each with two double beds apiece. And there’s no queuing for the bathroom here, as all bedrooms come with their own stylish ensuite.

Outside

The outside space of Lowfield House lures you out with ease! Head out onto your private terrace and drink in those views. Lounge on one of the sun loungers or settle into the garden sofa. Cook al fresco when the weather is favourable on the BBQ. And come rain or shine, there is no way you’ll want to miss seeing the sunset from the extreme comfort of your private hot tub.

Being well located in the Lake District, Lowfield House is brimming with things to do! Outdoorsy folk are particularly well served, with more walks than you’ll know what to do with. As well as plenty of outdoor activities. Head to Windermere (twenty minutes) and explore the lake by paddleboard. Or if you prefer to stay on dry land, Cathedral Cave is brilliant for climbers and walkers alike. Just remember to take a torch! With Ambleside less than fifteen minutes away. And Grasmere, where you can visit Dove Cottage, once home to poet William Wordsworth (twenty minutes). If literature is your passion, you’ll also be keen to visit Beatrix Potter’s home, Hill Top. Take a steamship guided tour of Lake Windermere getting to know the local history, from the shore at Bowness.
