Be prepared to be blown away by this fantastic beach front cottage. Filled with eclectic charm and quirky features, you may never want to leave.
Situated across the road from the harbour beach. And just a short walk from the village of Abersoch and all its amenities; shops, cafes and restaurants. It’s hard to imagine a more idyllic location for your next getaway. Accommodating a maximum of 4 adults, plus a child, Arfor Abersoch is ideal for families with older children, couples or friends. A vibrant seaside village with internationally recognised sailing waters, with events held throughout the year. It’s a haven for both lovers of the beach, and water sport enthusiasts. A perfect base for those who love life by the sea.
From the moment you walk through the door, you know that Arfor Abersoch is a well-loved space. Care and thought have been poured into the design and styling to curate outstanding home from home comfort. Oozing vintage character, it treads the line between luxury and homely comfort with ease. On the ground floor you’ll find the living room. Snuggle together in front of the Smart TV to the sound of the crackling log burner. The modern and fully fitted kitchen comes with high end appliances by Neff. An oven, induction hob, fridge and a dishwasher. And for those lazy mornings – a Nespresso coffee machine. The utility hosts plenty of storage plus a fridge/freezer, and a washer/dryer. Plus the main bathroom with a sumptuous freestanding bath. Two of the three bedrooms are also on the ground floor. A double, plus a cool mezzanine bed. The third bedroom is the gorgeous master suite, which can be found upstairs, and includes an ensuite shower room.
With space for one car, you can easily park up for the duration. The interior is matched by the lovely outdoor areas . Throw open the bifold doors in the kitchen onto your decked terrace. This space also houses the amazing outdoor rainfall shower, keeping sandy toes firmly in check! But the real star of Arfor is a short climb up some rustic wooden steps – the sun terrace. With clear harbour views, this little sun trap will be hard to leave behind. And if you don’t want to miss a moment, you can even cook your meals outside courtesy of the Jamie Oliver gas BBQ.
If the village of Abersoch and all it has to offer isn’t quite enough, you may wish to explore a little further afield. Hop in the car and head west to the expansive Snowdonia National Park. With breath-taking scenery and some of the most challenging peaks to scale in the UK. A short drive away is National Trust owned Plas yn Rhiw. A sea view manor house with beautiful gardens and a lovely coastal walk through the village of Rhiw. And around forty minutes away is one of Wales’s most famous tourist destinations, Portmeirion. A village born from the imagination of an architect in the early twentieth century, it’s definitely worth a day out.
Couples, friends and families looking to experience life by the sea.
