Located close to the lovely Welsh town of Betws-y-Coed, and just a stone’s throw from Zipworld, is Forest Lodges.

Quite literally tucked into the forest, these near-invisible lodges are a real treat. Providing compact stylish living in a sublime forest location ensuring an immersive experience like no other. With views overlooking Siabod Mountain, your break at Forest Lodges can be whatever you’d like. Simply potter and relax, taking in the soothing sound of birdsong. Or take advantage of all the local area has to offer and become an outdoor adventurer.

The lodges sleep two adults and a maximum of three children across two bedrooms. Ideal for couples looking for a romantic break, or for families wanting to retreat into the haven of the forest. Well behaved dogs are welcome to join the fun too.

Inside

Forest Lodges is all about cosy comfort. The wholly glazed frontage brings the outside in all while offering a stunning panoramic view. Bright and light, the interior is small yet perfectly formed. The central living space has a lounge area next to a kitchenette. An induction hob and kettle are provided, meaning simple meals and hot beverages are taken care of. Guests will also be greeted by a complimentary welcome hamper of Welsh produce and treats including milk and orange juice. To one side of the lodge, you’ll find a bunk room suitable for up to three children. With the master bedroom to the other side of the accommodation, next to the modern shower room.

Outside

From the moment you park up and load your luggage onto one of the trolleys, you’ll begin to relax. The short walk to your lodge offers just a glimpse of the restful experience you’re about to enjoy. And it is the private balcony of Forest Lodges where you’ll want to spend most of your down time. Providing shelter from the elements, this space is just dreamy. Enjoy a morning cup of tea at the outdoor seating and marvel as the forest wakes up around you. And after a day of adventures, hop into your private hot tub or balcony bath and unwind those aching joints.

Nearby

Just a few minutes’ drive from the town of Betws-y-Coed, Forest Lodges occupies a prime position. Nearby you can enjoy all that Zipworld Betws-y-Coed has to offer; Skyride and Zip Safari and Fforest Coaster among them, perfect for families. If you need even more adrenaline fuelled activities, Llechwedd and Penrhyn Quarry sites are half an hour, or less away. For those who enjoy a heritage themed day out, National Trust properties Bodnant Garden and Penrhyn Castle and within forty minutes or less. With Conwy Castle being around twenty-five minutes away. Animal lovers will enjoy a trip to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, half an hour away. With the seaside town of Llandudno being a similar length drive. Ideal if you’re hankering after fish and chips or a 99 on the pier!
