Two luxurious cabins, Thistle and Heather, offer an unforgettable base for exploring the Scottish Highlands. Perfect for couples, or perhaps a solo traveller feel immersed in peace and tranquillity.

The cabins offer endless options for outdoor adventures and days out, situated just 15 minutes from the famed NC500. Keen golfers may wish to pack the clubs, with Bonar Bridge and Ardgay golf course in the village. Named by those in the know as ‘mini Gleneagles’, it is just minutes away. Perfect for an early morning tee off.

Whatever you choose to do during your stay, you will leave feeling revitalised and reconnected to both nature and one another.

Inside

Both properties at Migdale Heights are identical in layout and offer the same luxurious experience. With a modern and contemporary feel, the cabins exude class and elegance with panoramic wrap around views. The wood burning stove is a perfect addition to warm beside after your day exploring.

The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, hob, fridge with freezer space, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine. Enjoy your meals on the peninsula breakfast bar or snuggle together on the ‘love seat’ enjoying the breathtaking panorama. Catch up on your favourite shows courtesy of the Smart TV (Wi-Fi included or relax with some easy listening music via the Echo speaker. Breakfast in the king size bed with those incredible views. The ensuite shower room, with power shower are perfect to feel rejuvenated and include towels, robes and slippers.

Outside

Migdale Heights is all about those stunning loch views, looking across to the hills and mountains beyond. And the private decking area is the perfect spot from which to enjoy it. Cook al fresco with a barbecue, devouring the fruits of your labour at the outdoor dining furniture. Don’t forget your swimming costume, because after a long day adventuring, you’ll want a dip in the hot tub and take in those vast open starry skies and if you’re lucky the Northern lights could make an appearance to complete your memorable stay with us.

Migdale Heights is a haven for those who love to be outdoors, with loads of activities at your fingertips. Hire paddle boards to glide along Loch Migdale or bikes to enjoy the mountain biking trails in Balblair Woods. For those who love to observe nature in its own environment, Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve is around thirty minutes away. And if you’re partial to a wee dram, Migdale Heights is well served by many of the famous distilleries. Sample the delights of Glenmorangie, Balblair, Dalmore or Clynelish. For those who love heritage, Dunrobin Castle is also a half hour away. And if you fancy pushing the boat out, why not set off early for a day trip to Orkney. In under two hours you could be on the ferry and en route.
