One of our quirkiest cheap breaks in Devon, The Lazy Mare is a converted horse box that now makes the cosiest home. Set in the countryside behind Ilfracombe, it’s hard to decide which of the surrounding Devon delights to explore. Although this is a super cute little space, The Lazy Mare doesn’t skimp on features. Inside there are games and a log burner, outside its own festoon lit private garden with outdoor cinema, barbecue, fire pit, and holiday charm in excess.
