A space of unique shape and style, hanging in the woods surrounded by nothing but the fields and hills of Powys. Cadwollen’s Treehouse invites you to live indoors and out at the same time. With a copper tub sitting in front of magnificent views through huge windows that stretch right up to the mezzanine double bedroom. If mere indoor bathing isn’t enough, wander out to the hot tub on its own extended deck and soak under clear night skies or the strings of fairy lights. There’s even an outdoor shower that makes just washing an exciting adventure.

Trawscwm Treehouse
Awake from a deliciously deep sleep to the chorus of birdsong between the branches of an old oak. Marvel at the indulgence of your getaway in leafy luxury. Trawscwm (pronounced ‘trouscum’) treehouse is an oasis of seclusion where you can forget the outside world. With no phone signal or Wi-Fi it’s a chance to disconnect from your devices, and reconnect with your family.

Prince Llywelyn Treehouse
Spanning nearly 56 square metres in size, this beautifully designed structure was built to a bespoke design by the owner, John, using locally sourced oak, larch and western red cedar. This treehouse will sleep 5 people and can also accommodate up to 2 additional people, as we have an ‘only the brave’ suspended hammock overlooking the downstairs area. Guests wishing to sleep on the hammock will be supplied with sleeping bags.
Terms & Conditions
You must be over 18 years old to enter this prize draw, please make sure you read these full terms and conditions before entering. To enter this prize draw, please enter your email address to sign up to the ToWander UK and Squirrels Nest mailing lists. The prize draw is open from the 28th of November until the 19th of December at 12pm.
The winner will be chosen at random from all entries received within that time. The winner will be notified via the email address provided no later than 7 days after the prize draw close date. No correspondence about the prize draw will be entered into and no cash will be given in place. Non-transferable to another guest or date once booked. The winner will need to accept their prize via email confirmation within 48 hours of notification. Failure to do so will grant the promotor (ToWander UK) the right to select another winner at random from those entered during the competition period.
The prize is for a FREE 2-night stay for up to 4 people at either Prince Llywelyn, Cadwollen or Trawscwm Treehouse. Dates to be confirmed and agreed with Squirrels Nest. The stay must be taken before the end of 2025, valid on mid-week stays between Monday to Friday, not including main holidays or peak season. No alternative prize or cash equivalent will be given. By entering this competition, you agree to be added to the ToWander UK mailing list and the Squirrels Nest mailing list which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
