Retreat yourselves away to a beautiful rural spot in Mid Wales. Beacon View Pods are a stylish duo of glamping pods exclusively for adults. Situated approximately 10 miles from the quaint market town of Knighton, deep in the lush Welsh countryside. So pack your bags, bring some tasty food and don’t forget your four legged friend!

Nestled away in a working farm, owners Lin and James have carefully crafted two wonderful glamping pods. Featuring stylish interiors that sleeps two adults and a hot tub perfectly placed to soak up some amazing views. All the modern luxuries are included so you don’t have to compromise on style or comfort.  This part of the country is great for those wanting to explore by foot or bike! With trails to be found right from the doorstep and pets welcome, it is the perfect base for those seeking an adventure.

Inside

Lovingly named Fern & Heather, these two fabulous pods have similar amenities but are styled differently. As you step into your own quirky oasis you will find a stylish wooden cladded pod. Boasting the dreamiest king size bed with fluffy pillows and a comfy duvet. Perfect place to rest your tired head after a day of exploring. A lovely modern kitchenette with microwave, two ring electric hob, fridge and freezer provides everything you need to cook up some simple and delicious meals. The trendy living room areas are great for cwtching up with your favourite book and loved one. There is also a log burning stove in both pods, perfect for those long winter nights. Beacon View Pods have their own small bathrooms, with a lovely hot shower, WC & basin. So no late night dashes to a loo block required!

Outside

The Beacon View Pods boast private decking areas with a fabulous hot tub expertly placed to soak in the scenic views! As well as this a BBQ, fire pit and garden furniture are all provided for you to enjoy the great outdoors. There is also designated parking nearby.

Nearby

Tucked away in a rural part of Powys, Beacon View Pods are idyllically situated for exploring the stunning scenery Mid Wales has to offer. Directly from the pods you can follow the ‘Soldier Tump’ trail. A fairly easy walk with breathtaking 360° views from the 1800ft Trig point. There is also a Maesgwyn circular walk which your furry friend will thoroughly enjoy! In Knighton, 10 miles away,  there is the Offas Dyke centre. There are various walks leading from there with varying difficulties and amazing scenery. In the village of Knucklas, there is a 19th century imposing viaduct which is worth viewing.

If venturing slightly further afield is on the agenda then why not head over to Llandrindod Wells, a spa town in Mid Wales. During your visit head over to the lake and take a nice circular stroll round it. Newtown is approximately 25 minutes away; it is more of an industrial town but has some small independent shops, not forgetting an amazing sweet shop. Get ready to pick n mix! Forty minutes away in Welshpool you will find the stunning Powis Castle which is definitely worth a visit. It has various picnic spots or treat yourself to some delicious coffee and cake from the cafe.

The local village pub, 2 miles away from Beacon View Pod,  called The Wharf in Felindre has a great beer garden but only serves drinks. In the quaint village of Beguildy there is the Radnorshire Arms which serves up some local ales and delicious food, booking is recommended. In Knucklas there is a lovely old pub & restaurant called The Castle which serves up some of the best pies and even has a special Thai night. In Knighton, there are plenty of places to choose from including The Banc, The George & Dragon and even two takeaway shops.
