There are three boutique retreats to choose from; Bethnal, Bec or The Foaling Box, all of which are equally divine. The eclectic The Foaling box studio is the larger of them all and is perfect for guests with pet allergies as there is a strict no pet policy in here. This handsome trio are filled with bold colours and retro furnishings making them instagrammable ready. Bethnal&Bec Luxury Stays deserve to be on your bucket list of UK stays.

These quirky getaways feature stunning fully equipped kitchens with a unique in-room pantry system, filled with delicious treats and locally made gin and vodka.If you don’t want to think about what to cook during your stay, you can pre-order Dine In Boxes. Containing everything needed to make your own pizzas, local steaks or gourmet burgers. You can even arrange a private chef experience.

Differing slightly in facilities. Bethnal boasts a luxurious roll top bath at the end of the bed. Where you can enjoy a glass of bubbly and a soothing soak taking in the beautiful views over the Hertfordshire countryside. Or for those who prefer a shower, the huge double waterfall feature in the bathroom will come as a welcome treat. If you choose to stay in Bec or The Foaling Box you can enjoy watching a favourite film on the cinema projector. The bathroom in Bec features a uniquely shaped bath and waterfall shower. Whereas the luxury bathroom in The Foaling Box has a stunning navy coloured antique roll top bath and another walk-in shower.

Both Bethnal and Bec studios feature sumptuous king sized beds whereas The Foaling Box has a generous super king. Other amenities include Vinyl record players and smart TV’s. Complimentary Aromatherapy Associates products, waffle robes, fluffy towels and slippers are also provided, so you can enjoy the full spa experience. Outside

The outside areas of Bethnal, Bec and The Foaling Box are just as fabulous. All have fenced private gardens with access to a one acre paddock which leads off to various scenic walking routes. In those warmer summer months take a siesta on the comfy outdoor day beds or kickback with your favourite book.  All of the studios have outdoor whirlpool baths with jacuzzi functions and atmospheric lights.

Nearby

Bethnal&Bec Luxury Stays is situated near the pretty, ancient village of Cottered in East Hertfordshire. Although we recommend staying in your own little oasis to enjoy some tranquillity there’s lots to do nearby if you’d like to explore the local area.

If you’d prefer to stay close, there are plenty of walks to explore which start right from Bethnal&Bec Luxury Stays; including the Cottered Loop and a walk leading to Cromer Windmill.

For fun and interesting days out check out Knebworth house or Hitchin Lavender Farm. Other cultural visits include Hatfield House, Henry Moore Foundation and Audley End House & Gardens.

For the adrenaline junkies, a visit to Lee Valley White Water Centre will definitely satisfy your cravings. And for the big kids amongst us the famous Harry Potter World is just a thirty minute drive away, awaken your inner wizard and don’t forget to sample some tasty butterbeer. The beautiful city of Cambridge is just a short journey away. A city full of history, independent shops and wonderful restaurants. You could either spend your day pursuing in the busy market square or take a gentle cruise or paddle down the picturesque River Cam.
