Hidden away in the heart of Herefordshire, three rather special lodges await! Offering breath-taking views across various counties, luxurious furnishings and bubbling outdoor baths, Bettws Court Retreats is simply perfect. This romantic bolthole is idyllic for celebrating a minimoon in the UK, a special birthday or even just some tranquil time away.

There are three luxurious lodges to choose from; Barn Owl Retreat, Peregrine Retreat and Kestrel Retreat. For those travelling with a four legged best friend, book a stay in Peregrine or Barn Owl. Couples fond of the great outdoors will love a stay here. Trek the local trails, canoe on the River Wye or explore the popular cities and towns of Hereford, Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye.

Inside

Each of Bettws Court Retreats sleeps two and has been lovingly designed and superbly styled by owner Sarah. Barn Owl Retreat is a gorgeous country themed lodge. Peregrine Retreat has a cool industrial elegance flowing throughout. Whereas Kestrel Retreat has a warm Scandinavian theme. Now all you have to do is pick which one!

All of the properties feature similar amenities and deliver at every turn. A bright and airy open plan kitchen area is probably where you will want to spend most of your time. Cooking up some romantic meals in the beautiful fully equipped kitchens. Or, lounging on the sofa admiring the unrivalled views through the expansive windows. Enjoy your own mini spa experience by relaxing in the bathtub using your complimentary Natural Spa Bath Soaking Salts. Then, pop on your fluffy robe and enjoy a glass of bubbly. There are lots of little extras that make your stay extra luxurious including underfloor heating, Netflix, Sonos speakers in every room and a cosy electric log effect fire.

When the sun begins to set, set yourself up for the most restful night’s sleep in the spacious king size en-suite bedroom. Wait until you see the four poster bed!

Outside

The lodges each have a private decking area with comfortable outdoor seating. This sun drenched space can be accessed via the main living room area or the bedroom. Scenic walks and local trails are also accessible from your doorstep, but what really steals the show are the outdoor double spa baths with jets, inline heaters and integrated chromotherapy lighting! Available for use all-year round, the outdoor area is in a prime position for stargazing. The fun doesn’t end here though. Each luxurious lodge has a quirky Charcoal Kamado-style Egg BBQ (available April to October inclusive) where you can cook up some mouth watering food or even a pizza!

Bettws Court Retreats is situated on Orcop hill. Conveniently located near Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth. Endless adventures await due to their wonderful location. A range of waymarked trails can be found within walking distance from your retreats; the difficulty level and distance is completely up to you. Daily guided walks with different themes can be pre booked with Hereford Guild of Guides. Experience something completely different with Golden Valley Llama Trekking. Hire a canoe and paddle down the River Wye with Ross-on-Wye Canoe Hire or canoe around the incredible Symonds Yat with Canoe the Wye. Other activities such as quad biking, clay shooting, archery and golf are all available nearby.

There is a vast array of eateries nearby if you fancy a break from cooking. Within a couple of miles, sample the delicious menus at The Fountain Inn or Under the Nut Tree. Venture slightly further afield and you can have your Sunday roast lamb in Wales!
