Within forty five minutes, or much, much less there is so much to see and do around Brook Cottage. For those who are more active, a day out at Elan Valley beckons. In the heart of the Cambrian Mountains, hike or bike through this stunning landscape. If you enjoy a potter around town, Ludlow and Hay-on-Wye will be a highlight for foodies and bookworms respectively. And not forgetting nearby Knighton, with its pubs, restaurants and independent shops. It is also known for being the only town on the historic Offa’s Dyke Path. For those who enjoy gaining a bit of knowledge, the Spaceguard Centre is just a few minutes away. Conducting almost daily tours, it’s a fascinating insight into a day in the life of a working observatory. Smaller members of your party will delight in the Small Breeds Farm Park. While there are plenty of heritage properties to visit, Stokesay Castle and Croft Castle and Parkland are just a couple.
