Perfectly located just thirty minutes from Cardiff, Celtic Manor is a great base to explore the wonderful Usk Valley.

Celtic Manor Barn is a beautiful stone barn conversion overlooking the Montgomerie golf course and so offers fantastic views. Despite being part of a 2,000 acre resort, the barn provides intimacy and privacy surrounded by nature. Sleeping up to 8 guests, this barn is suitable for a group getaway. The adjoining Farmhouse can also be hired meaning 16 guests can be accommodated.  Guests have full access to the resort’s facilities, which include; two award winning spas, three championship golf courses, an activity centre and numerous restaurants.

Inside

This stunning space features an open plan living space with floor-to-ceiling glass windows running the whole length of the barn. Allowing guests to absorb the stunning views right from the sofa. A sun room provides the cosiest nesting place to curl up and unwind whilst the luxurious fully equipped kitchen provides all the necessities to cook up some real feasts. Celtic Manor barn has two spacious king-size bedrooms, each with their own en-suite, one double bedroom also with an ensuite and one single room with fun bunk beds. There is also a useful utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The combination of modern and cosy interiors really sets the tone for a calming environment.

Outside

Ample parking is provided for the guests as well as a spacious private garden that the kids will adore. Spend those balmy summer evenings hosting a games night outside or enjoy some al fresco dining. Celtic Manor Barn is situated in a remote spot on the resort, boasting 2,000 acres of woodland walks and stunning scenery; you could quite easily lose track of time exploring the resort. There is an activity centre on the resort to keep the children or big kids occupied. Two award winning spas to soothe those achy muscles in and a variety of restaurants to choose from if you are fed up with cooking.

Due to being ideally located just off the M4, the barn is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Usk Valley. Celtic Manor is the ultimate retreat for the golf lovers! With three championship golf courses set amongst hundreds of acres of fabulous fairways just a short distance from the Barn. This is bound to be one of the best places you ever play.

Perhaps some retail therapy takes your fancy, the small city of Newport has a variety of shops nearby. Or, travel slightly further afield to the popular St Davids shopping centre in Cardiff. As you are probably aware, Wales is pretty famous for all of its Castles, Caerphilly Castle is only a short journey away as well as the dramatic Raglan Castle. Both are definitely worth a visit.
