About

Detox the mind and rejuvenate your soul with valley views and perfect peace.

Kaya at Blackhill Farm is the place to be for an adult only break, with their endless views and stunning skies. These incredible glamping yurts are within an area filled with the promise of outdoor adventure or simply sit and enjoy the peace. Located on a family farm in Herefordshire, close to the English/Welsh border are Sky House and Pumla. While identical in many ways, they each have their own unique facilities and identities.

Wholly encapsulating the site ethos of sustainability, with materials and labour sourced locally. Water is UV filtered and fed by an onsite spring. While some items of furniture are completely unique and created from natural woods and materials found around the surrounding land.

Inside

Kaya at Blackhill Farm is blessed with stunning views, and so both Sky House and Pumla have been sited with this in mind. Whatever the weather, the glazed frontage ensured you can feel like you’re outside, even when you’re in. If you love quirky curiosities, Sky House is the yurt for you. While Pumla is all about tactile fabrics and simple, yet stylish decor. Both have an open plan space, with a cosy bed at its centre. Warmed with a woodburning stove, which incorporates a hob and oven. You’ll find the fully equipped kitchen space tidily hidden behind the screen at the head of the bed. And the dining table for two is laid ready by the bed. Both yurts have indoor toilet facilities. However, Sky House is the best choice for you if you love a bath. Located by the glazing at the foot of the bed, the roll top bath beckons you to enjoy a bath with a view. Meanwhile, Pumla is slightly more traditional in having a stylish shower room. But if a bath is a must have, don’t rule out Pumla just yet, keep reading….

Outside

The British weather is not always kind, but should the sun be shining, the outdoor experience here is on point. The yurts at Kaya at Blackhill Farm embrace outdoor living. In particular the giant deck of Sky House is bound to appeal. Pull out the provided art supplies and easel and try to capture that gorgeous valley view. Relax on the deckchairs, or lounge on the deck net losing yourself in a great read. Start the day right with an invigorating outdoor shower come rain or shine.

Meanwhile, Pumla makes the most of its cosy corner. The deck holds a sumptuous outdoor bath, perfect for stargazing in extreme relaxation. While the deck space is a perfect ‘dining deck’. Cook over the firepit grill as you lounge in the deck chairs. And feast on your labours at the screened outdoor dining table.
