Or looking for an action-packed stay filled with things to do. Moonrise Lodges have it all. On site, enjoy wild swimming. Bring along your angling gear for a session at the fishing lake. Flexibility is key, with both rooms able to be either a twin or super-king – whatever you need. And there’s no squabbling for the bathroom, with en suites to each bedroom. The open plan living space is ideal for quality family time. With a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and perfectly appointed sofas, that are ideal for enjoying the stunning views. Plus, a Smart TV and Wi-fi connection should also keep the kids entertained should the adults fancy a lie in!

Outside

It’s hard to imagine that you’ll ever get bored of the incredible view from Moonrise Lodges. And your private wrap around deck with seating means you can feel that much closer. Enjoy al fresco dining and drinks as the kids enjoy the expanse of green to run wild on. Grill your dinner on the BBQ.  Strike up the firepit to keep the chill of the evening at bay. And it would be rude not to toast those marshmallows on those flickering flames! And once the kids are in bed, it’s time for some much needed grown up time. Slip into the private, sunken hot tub and gaze up at the ceiling of stars lit just for you two.

Shropshire is one of the most uncrowded and peaceful places, making Moonrise Lodges an ideal escape. The area has a wealth of outdoor activities with walks in abundance, some right from the lodge door. A little further afield you’ll find the stunning Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd. Owned by the National Trust, it’s a beautiful place to walk. And kids will love to play in the streams. Nearby, explore the pretty Georgian market town of Montgomery, and the ruins of the thirteenth century Montgomery Castle above. For something educational, visit the Iron Bridge Gorge Museums.
