Cycle or walk the miles of trails available to you, keeping your mini explorers entertained in the fresh air. Sleeping up to six guests in three bedrooms, with one well behaved dog welcome to join in the fun too.

And it isn’t just the forest location that will appeal. Because this lovely cottage is also just a few short miles away from the Suffolk Coast. Treat yourselves to delicious fish and chips on the beach – a proper British treat!

Inside

Office Piece Cottage is all at once a traditional cottage and a modern home. Bright and homely, it is styled with hints of country chic. Tiled throughout downstairs, it benefits from underfloor heating. But for those chilly evenings, you won’t be able to resist lighting the wood burning stove. Centrally located between the dining area and lounge, it offers a warming ambience to accompany your gathering. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. With an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge and separate freezer. As well as a dishwasher and a washer/dryer (always handy where kids, mud and/or sand are bound to mix!). The master bedroom has a cosy king size bed, and private ensuite shower room. And that floor to ceiling glazing with forest and garden views is a remarkable sight. The rest of your party are accommodated in the other double and a twin room. Both served with a lovely family bathroom.

Outside

Office Piece Cottage has ample off street parking, and gorgeous outside space to roam and play in. The patio comes equipped with garden furniture. While the garden is laid to lawn with lots of established shrubs and bushes adding interest. Perfect for a game of hide and seek! And best of all is the garden gate which leads directly into Rendlesham Forest. With miles of paths to explore, bike and hike to your heart’s content.

Despite its rural location, Office Piece Cottage is within easy reach of some fabulous days out. If you love to explore historical sites, you are particularly well served. With National Trust Sutton Hoo, which featured in the Netflix film, The Dig. Along with Orford Castle and Framlingham Castle, all between ten and twenty minutes away by car. For those who love the seaside, Aldeburgh is around twenty minutes. With a rich cultural identity, it is also the home of the Aldeburgh Literary Festival. Or take your bucket and spade and try your hand at the amusements at Felixstowe, around thirty minutes away.
