Or maybe just simply because you can. Penshenkin Barn is an absolutely gorgeous detached barn conversion. Nestled into the hillside on a working farm near to the Welsh town of Presteigne.

Coming with five bedrooms, all with their own en suite, this is the ideal spot in which to come together. Whether you’re celebrating a special birthday, anniversary or you are just looking to enjoy quality time together. The large kitchen/dining space lends itself perfectly to socialising and entertaining. Whilst its rural location is nothing short of idyllic, with beautiful scenery to be enjoyed from the peace of your patio space.  And it’s wheelchair friendly too, with one of the bedrooms being situated on the ground floor and being equipped with a wet room.

Inside

The renovations of Penshenkin Barn have been completed with an exacting eye and flawless taste. The jewel in its crown is the stunning double height kitchen and dining space. A dream for entertaining, this is the beating heart of this home. The kitchen comes well equipped with everything you’ll need to rustle up a family-sized feast. And the dishwasher will ensure that no one is left holding the marigolds. There is even a washing machine, just in case outdoor play become a little too muddy! At the end of the evening retire into the beautiful lounge. With its exposed feature wall and oak beams, beautifully accessorised with inviting, cosy sofas. Light the log burner and settle in for a night in front of the Smart TV. The bedrooms, a mix of king and twin rooms, each have their own en suite. With the majority also having a Smart TV installed.
