Situated on a private thirty-five acre estate, these holiday abodes are an utter sensation. Ty Hireaeth and Shepherd’s Rest each have two bedrooms, sleeping four people apiece. Wheelchair accessible, they’re fabulous for families with Shepherd’s Rest also welcoming up to 2 well behaved pets, with prior agreement.

Llety Cariad is the jewel in the crown. Sleeping six people in three bedrooms, it’s a masterpiece of luxury and relaxation. Llety Cariad can also accept up to 2 well behaved pets, with prior agreement.

Lastly, but certainly not least is Robin’s Nest. Connected to Plas Robin Farmhouse, it is a self-contained luxury suite for up to two people. A perfect love nest for couples, or a calm retreat for the solo traveller. And with it being on a B&B basis you can be sure to start the day right with a fabulous fry up!

Inside

Ty Hiraeth and Shepherd’s Rest are the most alike. With an open plan living, dining and kitchen space flooded with light from the bifold doors. Here you can cook, eat and make merry. The kitchens are brilliantly well equipped. With a range cooker with two ovens, an induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine. Underfloor heated through (including the utility, ideal for airing damp wet gear!). There is also a wonderful wood burning stove for the pinnacle of cosiness. Each comes with a super king bedroom, a second bedroom with a flexible super king or twin formation. Plus, a bathroom and an ensuite.

Llety Cariad is a spa seekers dream. Laid over two floors, it’s an upside down configuration. On the ground floor, there is the Utility room, open plan kitchen, dining and living area plus 2 bedrooms – the Superking ensuite and the Twin ensuite. The lower ground floor is devoted to the ‘Spa Suite’, the huge bedroom with the spa bathroom and sauna. There is a ‘chromatherapy’ shower which offers a holistic shower experience, as well as the body jets. Step outside to your wrap around balcony which truly makes you feel as though you are soaking in and surveying the wonders of this Montgomeryshire valley.

Finally, Robin’s Nest is the perfect luxury suite. With a super king bed, a sofa, reading armchair and a walk-in dressing room. With a kettle, coffee machine and mini fridge you’re well catered for hydration. Meanwhile, you have the option of luxuriating in the standalone bath or being refreshed beneath the multi-jet shower.

Outside

The far reaching views across the Severn Valley are a sight to behold at Plas Robin Rural Retreats. For those staying in Robin’s Nest, simply pop out with a glass of wine onto the beautiful balcony. With bistro seating it’s a peaceful spot for reflection and relaxation.

Meanwhile Ty Hiraeth and Shepherd’s Rest each enjoy a stunning private patio space. With a Kamado Ceramic barbecue, you’ll enjoy a grilled feast at the dining set. And the sunken hot tub has your evening of relaxation all tied up.

Llety Cariad benefits from two patio spaces. The lower ground has fantastic cooking facilities with the Grillstream Legacy barbecue and Gozney Pizza oven taking care of dinner. While feasting can take place at one of the two dining sets situated on each patio. Upstairs, on the balcony patio you will find the sun loungers as well as the six person hot tub. Can you think of any more perfect end to a day than slipping into warm bubbles?

Plas Robin Rural Retreats has the benefit of proximity to some brilliant attractions and days out. Around a ten minute drive could see you partaking in a vineyard tour at Kerry Vale. Or retail therapy at Coed Y Dinas. For those who enjoy history, take a hike to the ruins of nearby Montgomery Castle. While Gregynog Hall Estate and National Trust Powis Castle and Garden are less than twenty minutes away. Walk in the beautiful moorland at National Trust Carding Valley and the Long Mynd. Or cross the border and enjoy foodie heaven in Ludlow, around a forty five minute drive.
