Tucked within a rural haven just across the Welsh-English border in Wales, is Ploony Holidays. Made up of four properties sleeping between four to six people, they offer the perfect break for couples, families and friends. Situated close to the village of Bleddfa, you’ll experience idyllic peace in a beautiful countryside setting.
Ploony Cottage is the largest, sleeping up to six people in three bedrooms. While Ploony Barn sleeps five, with one of the king bedrooms being a family room, featuring an additional single bed. Finally, Ploony Hill Lodge and Ploony Hill Cabin both sleep up to four people with two bedrooms each. Ideal for different types of groups, with family rooms and zip link beds offering flexibility. And with up to two well behaved pets welcome in each, even your furry friends can come along for long walks to stretch their limbs!
All four properties at Ploony Holidays offer a cosy, home from home experience. The most traditional option is Ploony Cottage. Coming with a well equipped kitchen diner, the stone flagged floor screams country cottage. The sitting room is lovely and cosy, warmed to perfection by the wood burning stove. And on the first floor you’ll find the bedrooms and the family bathroom. Ploony Barn is a contemporary barn conversion which retains its rustic roots. It has an open plan living space with a beautiful stone fireplace housing the wood burning stove. There is a sleek kitchen and utility space, as well as a downstairs shower room. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms along with the family bathroom. Finally, Ploony Hill Lodge and Ploony Hill Cabin are cosy log cabins. All ground level, they have a lovely open plan sitting, dining and kitchen space. The underfloor heating makes it feel as if you’re enjoying a warm hug, with a log burner creating ambience. With two bedrooms each, they also have a bathroom with both a bath and a shower.
Surrounded by lush green fields, Ploony Holidays is a stunning rural escape. Whichever of the four properties you choose for your break, you’ll be inundated by the inescapable beauty of the Welsh countryside. And the outside space of each is truly lovely. At Ploony Cottage you have the benefit of a gorgeous garden which enjoys valley views. It even has a mountain stream running through. There’s plenty of space for the kids to run free, while adults enjoy dining and drinks on the patio space. And you even have your own hot tub under the raised and covered veranda.
Meanwhile, nearby Ploony Barn has a private, enclosed garden. Furnished with outdoor dining furniture, perfect for al fresco dining. And a hot tub for late night stargazing in the most relaxed of ways.
Ploony Hill Lodge is the one for you if you love cooking al fresco! With a charcoal barbecue as well as a pizza oven hut, you are well served for meal options. Sit outdoors and enjoy your dinner before a late night dip in the hot tub.
And last but not least, Ploony Hill Cabin has its own patio space which looks out across undulating hills and trees. Enjoy a morning cup of tea from this beautiful vantage point. And with the hot tub under cover, you can enjoy the warm waters regardless of the weather.
A stay at Ploony Holidays Wales is all about getting out and about in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Walking, cycling and riding are the best ways to see the sights.
