Escape to the countryside for luxury up amongst the trees. Prince Llywelyn Treehouse is an oasis of seclusion and solitude. With no phone signal or Wi-Fi it provides an ideal opportunity to disconnect from your devices, and reconnect with yourself and family.

Entirely built by the hands of owners John and Laura, Prince Llywelyn Treehouse is their 3rd and biggest treehouse, spanning nearly 56 square metres in size. It sits amidst the rolling fields of a working, family-run farm near Llanbister, Mid Wales. With only the occasional ambling sheep for company, this luxurious location promises endless views of gorgeous greenery. To access the treehouse, you’ll need to bundle only the essentials into a wheelbarrow, pull on the wellies, and wander across the fields, leaving your cares further behind with each step.

Inside

Open the door to a breath taking one of a kind oak table, perfect to seat your family and friends. Experience floor-to-ceiling views of the scenic surroundings from the blissful bathtub to the feature door wall. Or curl up atop the comfortable sofas with a riveting read. Whilst your family cooks up a delightful dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. Prince Llywelyn Treehouse boasts truly beautiful interiors designed in collaboration with Dunelm. Luxurious and unique, this treehouse oozes natural oak and contemporary charm.

Prince Llywelyn treehouse can sleep 5 people, with the option to accommodate up to 2 additional guests on the feature ‘only the brave’ suspended hammock overlooking the downstairs area. Guests wishing to sleep on the hammock will be supplied with sleeping bags.

Outside Prince Llywelyn Treehouse

Large double doors open up to bring the outdoors in. And a delightful deck provides many a perch for wildlife watching. It won’t take long to succumb to the allure of the inviting hot tub, offering sensational soaks beneath the branches. Or try the soothing outdoor rainfall shower! Below the Treehouse runs a babbling stream, so sit back, take in the view and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Only a short drive away are the Elan Valley attractions, including the awe-inspiring Victorian dams. For fans of cute creatures and wonderful wildlife, head to the Red Kite Feeding Station in Rhayader or the Kington Small Breeds Centre.
