Nestled between four beech trees in twelve acres of private woodland is Ravendere Treehouse. Situated in the pretty village of Lee, North Devon, the treehouse is within strolling distance of the beach. With the coastal towns of both Woolacombe and Ilfracombe being close by. This is a retreat reserved for grown-ups only, making it ideal for couples in need of a relaxing getaway. Although well behaved dogs are welcome to tag along. And what a retreat it is. Entirely bespoke and handcrafted, with private spa-like facilities in a peaceful location. And Ravendere doesn’t scrimp on modern luxuries either. With Wi-Fi, television with Apple TV and Netflix as well as plenty of DVDs. There are even board games if you’re feeling, well, bored. Whether your getaway is to unwind, or simply a lovely base from which to explore. You’re assured of a stay like no other.

Located within the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you’ll be keen to experience the great outdoors. The famed harbour town of Ilfracombe, and the gorgeous long golden sands of Woolacombe are within an easy drive. You could even hike there. If you fancy some water-based activities, check out Ilfracombe Sea Safari, or Woolacombe Surf Centre. If you’d like to explore further afield, Exmoor National Park is twenty-five minutes away. For a spot of heritage, National Trust owned Arlington Court is just under half an hour away. And no trip to Devon is complete without tackling the steep cobbled hill of the gorgeous fishing village, Clovelly. Just under an hour away, it’s a beautiful day out, steeped in maritime history.
