Based near to the Cornish cathedral city of Truro, is Sara’s Cottage. Its peaceful rural location lends itself to families looking to escape the everyday hustle and bustle of life whilst being in a well-located spot for exploring the gorgeous county of Cornwall. Plus, the family pooch is welcome to tag along too! Experience home from home living in a thoughtfully designed beautiful property laid out to appeal to a number of needs. Its wholly ground floor accommodation sleeps up to six people across three bedrooms. It is highly rated in terms of accessibility, with additional mobility equipment available. They are also certified as being both autism and dementia friendly. The owners truly embrace the ethos of inclusivity and welcome the opportunity to discuss individual requirements. Sara’s Cottage offers homely cottage luxury for all to enjoy.

Inside

With warm, soft hues and a welcoming vibe throughout, Sara’s Cottage feels like home from the moment you walk in. The large, open plan living space is perfect for all the family to come together. With a cosy lounge area surrounding the warming log burning stove, and a wall mounted smart TV for a night in. There is a dining table for devouring well-earned meals, plus a well-equipped kitchen for the designated chef. The kitchen comes with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee machine and a dishwasher. No need to argue over whose turn it is to wash the dishes here! Just off the open plan living space is the garden room which is glazed to offer the best views of the garden come rain or shine. It is the best spot to catch up with a good book! You’ll find the first bedroom off the lounge area, coming with a king size bed, an ensuite shower room and French doors leading into the garden. The second and third bedrooms can be found on the other side of the cottage. Both offer the choice of bed formation with zip/link beds, the second bedroom being a super king. Whilst, the third bedroom is best suited to children when in twin formation, being two small single beds. The second bedroom has a fantastically accessible shower room suitable for wheelchair users. The third bedroom has sole use of the family bathroom across the hall.

Outside

The outside space at Sara’s Cottage will help you make the most of the Cornish sunshine! The beautiful garden has a wheelchair-friendly patio space, which two of the three bedrooms can access directly. With a variety of seating spots around the garden, head out with a drink and try them all! Settle and watch the wildlife at the bird feeders as you enjoy a quiet morning coffee. Also available, opposite the cottage is a small laundry room. Having both a washing machine and tumble dryer, it’s very handy especially for families!

Nearby

Sara’s Cottage is a fantastically located base from which to explore all Cornwall has to offer. Explore nearby Truro on one of the walking tours on offer where you can learn all about it’s history, culture and characters as you go. Or visit Truro Cathedral and it’s beautiful stained glass rose windows. National Trust Trelissick Gardens is also just ten minutes away. Visit the many beautiful beaches and seaside towns and villages. Perranporth is less than twenty minutes away and has three miles of golden sands to enjoy. Popular beauty spots Porthcurno Beach and St Ives are both less than an hour away. For families, enjoy a fun day out at Lappa Valley, less than half an hour’s drive. Whilst families with older children may enjoy the adventure of the high ropes at Via Ferrata (twenty minutes). And with plenty of water based activities, not to mention beautiful walks you’ll have no shortage of things to do.
