During the day; walk or cycle along the endless paths, sample a fine ale in one of the local pubs or simply relax in your tranquil abode. When night falls, pop open a bottle of something special and take a dip in the bubbling hot tub, enjoying some quality time together. Each lodge has been expertly placed to ensure you have the secluded space you so desire. Carefully designed to accommodate two guests, each lodge features a light and airy open plan living space. Thanks to the floor to ceiling glass panels, guests can feel at one with nature right from the comfort of the warm lodge.

Revel in cooking up some simple yet delicious meals in the well equipped kitchenettes and in those balmy evenings perhaps dine alfresco style. In the cooler months, light up the cosy wood burner and become mesmerized by the dancing flames. When it comes to bedtime, rest assured for the best night’s sleep in the deluxe king-size bed. No midnight dashes to a separate loo block required here, after all it is luxury glamping, as each lodge features a stylish ensuite bathroom.

The highlight of a stay at The Chilterns View Lodges has to be enjoying a glass of wine on the south-facing veranda after a day of adventuring. Soaking in the mesmerizing views of the Chiltern Hills. All of the lodges have ample, private outdoor space where the two of you can relax. Whether that be in the soothing hot tub or toasting marshmallows around the fire pit, the choice is yours! To make your stay even more special, pre-book some of Chiltern View’s little extras. These include a relaxing reflexology treatment or Indian head massage, a fun dancing lesson and even some clay pigeon shooting.

Nearby

Although just an hour away from England’s busy capital City, a stay at The Chiltern View Lodges feels like a truly rural escape. The closest village is the picturesque Ewelme, which you may recognise from Les Miserables film.  Ewelme is home to owner Rachel’s favourite pub, The Shepherd’s Hut. Just a five minute cycle away and an easy thirty minute walk, this popular pub serves up some delicious home cooked food including one of South Oxfordshire’s best Sunday lunches. Another popular eatery nearby is the renowned Crooked Billet, just 20 minutes away, this gastro pub is certainly a haven for foodies. The Crooked Billet also has regular music nights where you can enjoy great entertainment and fine foods, what a way to spend an evening.

The Chiltern View Lodges are located near the Ridgeway National Trail where 87 miles worth of cycle paths will keep you busy for a day or two. There is also an abundance of woodland walks offering wide open vistas right from your doorstep.
