Wonder through 100 acres of luscious countryside and tranquil woodlands and in a quiet, rural spot on the farm you will find your charming cabin. This beautiful space has been thoughtfully designed both inside and out. Providing guests with a real get-away-from it all and luxurious feel. Four legged friends are welcomed with open arms in this rural retreat.

Inside

A homely feel greets you as soon as you step through the french doors. Elegantly combining luxurious touches and creature comforts, The Duck Pond cabin offers a  restful hideaway feel. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee as you unpack your bags and get settled in for your mini break. A stylish and compact kitchen with everything you need to cook up a romantic meal or tasty breakfast allows guests to be self-sufficient during your stay. After a busy day exploring the local area with your four legged friend, snuggle down in your kingsize bed under a sumptuous feather duvet. During those longer, balmy months enjoy a glass of wine in the living room area as you gaze at the picturesque countryside through the large glass pane. In the cooler months, light the wood burner and make things extra toasty in your cabin.

Outside

You and your four legged friend will absolutely adore the space on offer outside The Duck Pond Cabin. The wood fired hot tub is just one of our favourite features. Available for use all-year round, the hot tub is in prime position for stargazing at night or bird watching during the day. Light up the barbecue and cook al fresco style whilst you enjoy the golden sunset drenching the nearby fields. After soaking in the fresh, countryside air, enjoy the best night’s sleep inside.

Situated on a 100 acre farm, this enchanting escape offers a rural respite from the strains and stresses of everyday life. Perfectly placed in the picturesque Northumberland countryside, the cabin is within close proximity to a range of heritage sites. Explore the captivating sites and history rich Hadrian’s Wall. Explore parts of the 73 mile path either by bike or foot. Just five miles away from The Duck Pond Cabin is the magical Northumberland National Park, spend your day chasing waterfalls and exploring the woodland walks.

The lively and diverse city of Newcastle upon Tyne is just a short car journey away and the perfect place to quench the urge for some retail therapy. The exquisite town of Hexham is a must see during your stay at The Duck Pond Cabin. This market town boasts stunning architecture, picturesque parks including Sele Park and the wonderful Hexham House. For the foodies amongst us, a trip to Corbridge is certainly in order. Home to some of the finest pubs, cafes and shops in the region. Some of which include the Black Bull, Massey’s Tea room and The Angel Inn.  Owner Lauren highly recommends guests to visit the Michelin Starred Pine restaurant, only ten minutes away from The Duck Pond Cabin.
