Stripping back modernity while losing none of the luxury, this is a sustainable and eco-conscious option. Solar powered throughout, with no three-pin sockets (USB charging points only) – leave the hair dryer at home! With water being spring fed onsite and UV filtered.  Detach yourself from your everyday life, slow down and live in the moment.

Inside

Sleek and modern, The Treehouse at the Fold is beautiful. A studio style space framed with glazed doors. The super king size bed sits in pride of place at the centre of the room. You’ll find your kitchen space along one of the outer walls. Stylish and well equipped, it has a gas hob, sink and an electric fridge. Essential for keeping those bubbles chilled. And the space is warmed to perfection by the woodburning stove. Settle side by side in the armchairs and lose yourselves in a good book. Or perhaps challenge one another to a board game. And in the ensuite you have a shower room as well as a sink and a composting loo.

Outside

Throw the doors of The Treehouse open and head out onto your private balcony. Spacious and perfectly appointed to enjoy the views of the landscape, and the neighbouring vineyard. Cook al fresco on the Kamado barbecue grill – which is a brilliant substitute for an oven. And if you’re fancying something different, fire up the pizza oven. Keep warm whatever the weather thanks to the outdoor woodburning stove. And come nightfall, you may be keen to slip into the bubbles of the outdoor copper bathtub. National Trust managed The Weir Garden, a beautiful riverside garden, is around a twenty five minute drive. And if you like your wine or spirits, you are in luck.
