Westgate Farm is a working, family-run tenant farm close to the village of Little Walsingham, thoughtfully opened to guests as a place to stay, gather, eat and return to. Situated just six miles from the North Norfolk Coast AONB, this is a destination in its own right – seasonal, intentional and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Westgate Farm is home to two beautifully crafted safari tents, Owl’s Nest and Foxley Lodge. Owl’s Nest is designed for couples, with a romantic king-size bed and an intimate, cocooning feel. Foxley Lodge sleeps between two and six guests, with two king-size beds and a charming double cabin bed ideal for children. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too, making this a place for the whole family to slow down together.

Inside

Whether you’re here for romance, family time or a little of both, the interiors at Westgate Farm are anything but ordinary. Both safari tents are rich in character and detail, blending bold colours, layered textures and handcrafted elements with a sense of calm, wild luxury. Thoughtfully styled rather than pared back, the spaces feel warm, expressive and inviting.

The bespoke, handmade kitchens are a true centrepiece, equipped with an induction hob, microwave oven and fridge, and designed to make cooking and eating together feel like part of the experience. The kitchens flow seamlessly into generous living and dining areas, with comfortable sofas, books, games and binoculars for wildlife spotting.

When it’s time to unwind, the bathrooms offer moments of indulgence. Owl’s Nest features a striking, oversized round bath, perfect for long, candlelit soaks. Foxley Lodge’s bathroom can be opened to the outdoors with a roll-up flap, allowing you to bathe to the soundtrack of birdsong and rustling leaves.

Outside

Step out onto your private, west-facing veranda, furnished with deep, comfortable outdoor seating and sheltered so it can be enjoyed whatever the weather brings. Children can roam freely through the wildflower meadows while adults linger over coffee, wine or a good book, watching the sky soften into golden sunsets.

As evening draws in, light the firepit, toast marshmallows and settle into the slower pace of farm life. In the summer months, Westgate Farm opens its much-loved Pick Your Own sunflower field (dates TBC, usually August), adding a joyful, seasonal highlight to your stay and a beautiful expression of life on the farm.

Nearby

Westgate Farm is perfectly placed for exploring both countryside and coast. Walkers can head out along the Norfolk Coast Path, while beach lovers will enjoy Wells-next-the-Sea, just twelve minutes away, with its wide sands and iconic beach huts. Holkham’s vast bay and pine-fringed shoreline lies nearby, as does the picturesque village of Blakeney, famed for crabbing along the quay.

Boat trips from Morston offer the chance to spot wild grey seals, while Holkham Hall provides a grand day out exploring historic interiors and gardens. Families can venture to ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure (thirty minutes) or BeWILDerwood (fifty-five minutes) for woodland play among the treetops.
