Inside
Lovingly created by the owners, this treehouse oozes rustic charm and comfort all combined into one. The accommodation comprises an open plan living area with sea views, a shower room and a separate bedroom. The quirky plum coloured kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up some simple, tasty meals. Cuckoo’s Hideaway is a romantic bolthole, sleeping 2 guests in the double bedroom. Where a sumptuous mattress, fluffy pillows and soft linen set you up for the best night’s sleep!
Outside
This stunning treehouse boasts two private decking areas. On the upper level the owners have craftily created a bar area with a comfy lounger, wood fired pizza oven and bar stools. Perfect for concocting some indulgent pizzas and beverages. On the lower level you will find your soothingly warm hot tub, all ready for you to hop on in. Bubble away in your own little oasis and let all your worries fade away.

If you really want to leave your comfortable interiors and bubbling hot tub, the local area awaits your exploration. Head over to the wonderful Ceredigion coastline for some sea air and possibly even spot the rare sight of bottlenose dolphins! Cuckoo’s Hideaway is just eight miles away you have the charming and popular Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, famous for its colourful houses and voted one of the top staycation spots in the UK!
Slightly further afield, approx. 30 mins away, you will find the lovely coastal village of New Quay. Here you can go on a dolphin spotting boat trip, walk the coastal path or simply enjoy the blue flag beaches. If you head North, just a 30 minute drive away, you are in Aberyswyth. A bustling and vibrant town with a plethora of independent shops to explore, mouth watering eateries for all tastes and budgets and of course the Vale of Rheidol Railway.
If you’d prefer to head more inland then we recommend exploring the spectacular Cambrian Mountains for lakes, waterfalls and romantic wilderness.
Foodies will find many a place to tempt the palate such as The Cellar, one of Aberaeron’s best rated restaurants. With a cosy atmosphere and local specialities, not to mention the beautiful views over the harbour, it’s one for the list. The Hive and Harbourmaster are also popular places to eat. If you do get to go to New Quay, you should definitely sample the menu from the Lime Crab and treat yourself to some delicious Ice cream from Creme Pen Cei.
