These contemporary-chic shepherd lodges with hot tubs are perfectly positioned in a wild flower meadow, just a mile away from the River Dart and just a short drive away from countless sandy beaches.
Dittisham Hideaway Shepherds Lodges promise to be a memorable, enchanting and unique getaway. A place for loved ones to reconnect with one another or for families to enjoy the great outdoors. Furry best friends are also welcome here. Maple and Willow Shepherd’s Lodges are designed with two in mind. Whilst Cedar and Oak can accommodate up to two adults and one child (or two smaller children). Beech Shepherd’s Lodge also boasts a unique adjoining mini lodge for up to four children.
Inside
Each lodge has been lovingly handcrafted and styled to feel remarkably spacious. Bursting to the brim with homely comforts and luxury touches, we can guarantee you won’t want to leave! A hamper to settle you in will be there on arrival, packed with some treats, enough for welcome tea/coffee & nibbles, with the inclusion of bread, butter & jam. As well as a complimentary bottle of wine for you to enjoy on a warm sunny afternoon or cosy winter evening by the fire. All of the lodges have cosy soft furnishings, traditional wood-burning stoves, relaxation areas where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, fully equipped kitchens and foldaway breakfast bars. While the king-size beds, thick duvets and plump pillows set you up for the best night’s sleep. If you are travelling as a family, you have the choice of Cedar, Oak or Beech Shepherds Lodge. Cedar and Oak both have an additional comfy double sofa bed that your little ones can snuggle up on. Beech Shepherd Lodge has a unique feature the kids will love – an adjoining mini hut which has two sets of bunk beds. The mini lodge is linked by camera/sound intercom to the main lodge, so everyone can rest easily.
Outside
Open up the doors of your handsome hideaway to discover acres of picturesque Devon countryside waiting quietly just for you. Enjoy lazy mornings sunbathing on the sun loungers or take your coffee for a wander around the beautiful grounds. Then head off on an adventure to discover the local wonders. As the sun begins to set over this woodland oasis, light up the bbq and cook up some of your favourite foods, you can even pick seasonal vegetables from the top of the drive. Then, when it’s time to truly unwind, hop into the traditional wood-fired outdoor cedar hot tub, pop open something bubbly and look up into the clear night sky.
