Situated on a small farm in beautiful Somerset are Lavender Hill Treehouses. Nestled among the tree boughs are two treehouses; Apple Tree House and The Tree House. Ready to help you make some unforgettable memories, they’re ideal for families. Apple Tree House is slightly larger with three bedrooms accommodating 5 adults, plus a child and an infant in a cot. It’s also dog friendly so the whole family can come along! Meanwhile, The Treehouse cosily accommodates 2 adults and 3 children in two bedrooms.
And not only does your luxurious treehouse tick all your boxes, but they’re also in a fantastic location. Whether you’re outdoor adventurers or interested in history. Coastal lovers, in search of fabulous family fun or you like to potter around picturesque towns and villages. There is something here for everyone.
Inside
Both treehouses at Lavender Hill are filled with gorgeous rustic charm. With open plan living/dining/kitchen areas forming the soul of these amazing treetop homes. No one needs to be excluded from the fun when everything you need is right there! Rustle up something tasty in the modern kitchen. Cosy up on the comfy seating, channel hop and find something good to watch. All while being warmed by your lovely woodburning stove.
Apple Tree House has three bedrooms. A zip/link with shower en-suite, with additional space for a cot or toddler bed. A further zip/link room. With the third room being a twin, with one of the beds being a cabin bed for a child. There is also a family bathroom.
The Tree House has two bedrooms. Bunk beds on the ground floor along with a family bathroom featuring a roll top bath. And you’ll find the spacious and simply sensational master up the winding staircase. Featuring a zip/link with a daybed for a child, it’s a beautiful airy space. Perfect to retreat into after a long day.
Outside The Treehouses
Step out and enjoy the idyllic view from the extensive decking. Imagine taking sips of your morning coffee sitting amongst rustling leaves. Gentle birdsong in your ears. A private, fenced garden complete with a wooden play area is ideal for the kids to let off some steam. And in The Tree House they can access the garden in the coolest way possible. Via a slide from the top deck! For further family fun, make use of the two private sessions in the indoor heated swimming pool on site!
In the warmer months, pick your best outdoor chef and make use of the BBQ. Dining al fresco on the outdoor furniture. And later when the little folk are sleeping. Slip into the private hot tub. Allow the bubbles to unfurl those aching muscles. The ultimate relaxation on the ultimate treehouse break.

The local area around Lavender Hill Treehouses provides plenty of options for family fun. Situated near to the Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Exmoor National Park. Nearby are the towns of Taunton and Tiverton. Find out more about the local area at the Museum of Somerset housed in Taunton Castle. Or have fun in Vivary Park at the many attractions there; mini golf and highropes for starters. The old ‘Art Deco’ BBC radio transmission station now forms part of Tropiquaria Zoo. Only twenty-five minutes away it’s a fab family day out. For some thrills, Crealy Theme Park is forty-five minutes away. Or for a traditional day by the sea, head to Lyme Regis, an hour away. And if surfing is your thing Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton are also an hour away. Then at the end of the day when you are too weary to cook, stroll down to The New Inn for some wholesome pub food!
