Loose Reins
Loose Reins
Saddle up and head on down to Loose Reins for a break like no other. Experience frontier style living in these beautiful bespoke artisan cabins.
Loose Reins is not just a holiday. It’s an adventure. Nestled into the Blackmore Vale in North Dorset, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Four luxury glamping cabins are situated on a family run farm. Reminiscently styled for the Wild West, they’re ideal for both couples and small families. Gold Panners, Ranchers and Trappers all sleep three adults (four, if little ones can top or tail or would like to make use of the neat bunk bed option). Whilst the newest cabin, Foresters, can sleep up to five in it’s two spacious bedrooms. Challenge the children to find the fun and super-secret children’s den hidden underneath one of the beds. There’s a real emphasis on enjoying the simple things in life. Being outdoors, reconnecting with nature and having fun together is a sentiment echoed throughout. With kids’ activities, animals to make friends with, and woodlands to explore. Den building, nature trails and scavenger hunts. There is so much fun to be had!
Inside
So much care and attention has been paid to create an authentic feel to each cedar wood cabin. Ranchers, Trappers and Gold Panners, though alike, each have a little extra special something unique in the decor. Inside you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. A cosy king size bed, plus the dining seats transform into a single bed with a bunk option for a child if needed. Or, the dining table can be folded away to make space for a travel cot. There’s also a private shower room/wc. Foresters offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The lodge is larch-clad, snugly insulated with central heating, and boasts a striking glass front with bi-fold doors that immerse you in the surrounding beauty. Inside, you’ll find a generous bathroom with a powerful rain shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and a welcoming lounge area. And should you encounter a chilly night? Light the wood burner and snuggle down beneath real American quilts and blankets. Loose Reins is the closest thing to Frontier living in Dorset!
