Mercury Eco Cabin is a sustainably built cabin, sleeping a maximum of five people (two adults and three children). Located within the parkland of Bryn Tanat Hall, close to the Shropshire/Welsh border. This is a real getaway from reality. Not only is the cabin itself incredibly beautiful and environmentally friendly, boasting credentials such as ground source powered heating, solar and it’s own natural water source. It’s also set upon a site with exceptional facilities, housing a gym, spa and tennis court. Along with hosting many workshops and games such as; archery, den building forest laser tag, croquet and for the brave, cold water immersion. Keen anglers will love the opportunity to fish along the River Tanat. There’s something for everyone. And if you’re exhausted after a busy day? You can even arrange for a homecooked meal prepared by the chef and delivered to the cabin!

Step into Mercury Eco Cabin and be greeted by the bright, fresh interior. Furnished to a high standard with bespoke artisanal furniture, alongside designer pieces. The open plan living space is sleek, yet cosy, with a lounge area and television leading to the kitchen. Naturally separated by a peninsula breakfast bar, it has everything you need to make self-catering a breeze. An oven, hob and even a dishwasher ensuring those marigolds can stay home. And caffeine needs are well taken care of with the Nespresso coffee machine. The master double bedroom sits at the front of the cabin with views over the wildlife pond, alongside the living space. At the rear of the cabin, you will find a bunk room with two single beds and a third pull out single bed. Sitting between both rooms there is a beautiful walk in shower room.

Mercury Eco Cabin is set in a beautiful natural space overlooking the wildlife pond, surrounded by the wildflower meadow and an abundance of native trees. There’s plenty of space to run around for the kids. Meanwhile the adults can enjoy sitting on the private deck with their beverage of choice, taking in the tranquil setting. If you’re feeling active, you could book a session on the tennis court, or head to the gym for a work out. If the Wellness Spa is more your scene, book yourself in for an Aromatherapy Associates treatment. Come evening, hire a barbecue and both cook and dine al fresco. And make sure you get the most out of your private hot tub. Relax into the soothing heat of the water, and ease tension from stressed muscles. All beneath a beautiful dark, starry sky. Sheer bliss.

Mercury Eco Cabin is situated in a peaceful, rural location – perfect for kicking back and relaxing. However, if you fancy getting out and about there are plenty of options for days out. Powis Castle, Erdigg Hall and Attingham Park are all National Trust properties and are at most a thirty five minute drive away. If you’re looking for beautiful scenery, head to Pistyll Rhaeadr. Just twenty minutes away, this is a stunning waterfall within the Berwyn Mountains. Young animal lovers will adore Park Hall Farm, fifteen minutes away. And for those with a bit more walking stamina, the expansive Chester Zoo is a forty five minute drive. There are also plenty of places to chase your adrenaline. Try mountain biking on hand built cycling trails at Coed-y-Brenin Forest, just over an hour away. Or just strap on those hiking boots and get to know the famed Offas Dyke Path or Glyndwr’s Way.
