Located just below the beautiful Hartland Peninsula AONB, Nest is perfectly located for lovers of the beach and the countryside alike. It is the ideal spot to soak up all that nature has to offer. It’s a chance to switch off and enjoy a slower pace of life. With a cinema projector in your bedroom, range of board games, books and magazines for all ages to browse. As well as binoculars for spotting the resident wildlife. And a telescope for getting lost in the gorgeous dark skies.

Inside
Handcrafted to perfection, Nest is beautiful. The Scandi inspired interiors feature expanses of warm natural wood and soothing, neutral tones. You’ll feel as if the outdoors has come in. The open plan living space has gorgeous squishy sofas – ideal for sinking into. Situated in front of the wood burning stove to create the perfect romantic ambience. The kitchen has all the facilities you’d need to whip up fabulous meals. And for caffeine lovers, a Nespresso machine will get your day started just right. Head through to the two bedrooms. A cute bunk room for two children. And a sumptuous super king sized four poster suite for the adults. Complete with its own gold roll top double ended bath with a picture frame view the valley. Plus, the cinema screen projector means movie night can be supremely comfortable. And the bathroom is the icing on the cake. A walk in shower complete with soft LED lighting, and snuggly robes and towels mean it’s a delight to wash away the day.
Outside
Nest is set within twenty acres forming part of the UNESCO North Devon Biosphere Reserve. Discover open fields, woodland and the meandering river. Back at your treehouse settle into the two-person hammock with a great read or have a relaxing outdoor bath on the terrace. Treehouse living is all about getting outside, and your private terrace is an inviting spot to sit with your drink of choice. Enjoy cooking al fresco on the BBQ in your private courtyard. Or change things up with the wood fired pizza oven. And after a heady day of fun seeking and activity, slow things down as you slip into the warm waters of the wood fired hot tub. Sheer bliss.

If you feel the need to leave the sanctuary of Nest, you will have no shortage of options. For those who don’t feel like cooking, set off by foot and in five minutes you could be at the award winning Pattard Restaurant. Or walk a little further to Hartland Village and enjoy a tipple in one of three pubs. For a day out, walk to Hartland Abbey and Gardens in fifteen minutes. Or jump in the car and head further afield. In fifteen minutes, you could be in Clovelly, with its enduring beauty that has to be seen. For those with children, enjoy a day of fun at the Milky Way, a brilliant amusement park. Or head to the coast. Westward Ho! Is less than thirty minutes away and is a popular traditional British seaside resort. Or if you’re looking for something a little quieter. Instow is lesser known but has great seafront eateries and dog friendly beaches.
