That being said, the amazing interiors and delightful decks of the lodges might have you simply staying put in a contented cocoon.
Inside Penlan Lodges
Both lodges are ultra stylish yet have different key features. Bathed in beautiful natural light thanks to the expansive opening doors and large windows, Ewe View boasts beautiful parquet flooring throughout and perfectly plush features like a luxurious blue velvet sofa. A modern, well-equipped kitchen means you could spend the duration of your stay in a contented cocoon if you wish. There are two sumptuous bedrooms and a cosy wood burner in the lounge area for cosy nights in. Ewe View sleeps 4.
Shepherds hill is cool and contemporary with plush elements and parquet flooring throughout. The lodge offers an open-plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and living space with a beautifully boutique bedroom that features a king size bed and a fabulous copper bath! Shepherds Hill sleeps 2.
Outside
Both lodges have private decking areas that span the entire length of the lodges. With access from both the kitchens and bedrooms. Quite the sun trap, the decks are equipped with comfortably cushioned wicker furniture and your own private hot tub to ensure maximum relaxation for the adults and perfect privacy. Ewe View Cabin also has a wonderful children play area, so whilst you are relaxing the kids can be kept well occupied. With endless views of the surrounding fields and the wonderfully fresh Welsh air to still your soul, you are guaranteed to leave Penlan Lodges feeling relaxed, recharged and reinvigorated.
Nearby
Specifically placed so that you can enjoy the scenic splendour. Penlan Lodges are in a romantically rural spot which means a car is the best option for getting out and about to see the local area. The Victorian Spa town of Llandrindod Wells is only a short drive away. As is the stunning Water Break-It’s-Neck Waterfall as well as the attractions of the Elan and Claerwen Valleys.
Foodie haven of Ludlow with its Michelin starred restaurants and acclaimed local produce can be accessed easily by a nearby A-road or even an undulating scenic route if you want to really explore the area. Builth Wells is also within easy reach and is where they hold the prestigious Royal Welsh Show each year.
