Dating back to the 18th century, Pheasant cottage is a charming period property that has undergone a transformation to make it into a beautiful holiday home. The calming interiors are modern, light and airy and have everything you need for a home from home getaway. Arise in the morning from the king sized master bed to a refreshing walk in shower in the en-suite bathroom. Then unclasp the patio doors to let the surrounding beauty flood in. This 3 bedroomed cottage can comfortably sleep 6 people, with the additional bedrooms being a king and twin sized. The spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining space is a serene and cosy area to be social by day or night. So pack up the provided picnic hamper, grab the rug and head out for a day of wild adventures. Loch Tay is the largest loch in Perthshire and one of the deepest in Scotland. It’s great for walking, cycling, watersports and more, and it’s only a short journey west from Pheasant Cottage. A little further afield are the National Parks, the Trossachs and Cairngorms with outdoor pursuits aplenty!
For the culture lovers, a trip to one of Scotland’s fine cities may be in order. The city of Perth is only a 30 minute drive away, with excellent shops, eateries, theatres and more. Or just over an hour and you can be in the capital city of Edinburgh. Visit the castle, hike a viewpoint or soak in the history at the many museums.
Foodies won’t find it difficult to find something to tempt their palate. The Logierait Inn is only a short walk from the cottage, it’s steeped in history and serves up delicious meals. And the owners can recommend many more local places to dine.
