Inside the Geodomes

Each Geodome can sleep up to two adults and two children. Housing a luxury super king size bed and two single beds. Fully insulated and with their own wood burning stove, you can be sure of the cosiest stay. And if you just fancy bunkering down for the evening with a film, there is also a smart TV and WiFi included. A stay at The Little Retreat does not mean forgoing the modern conveniences either. Each dome has a kitchen and bathroom, so you have everything you need all in one place, for a relaxing and restorative stay.

Outside

The domes are nestled within a secluded location in the upper walled garden of the Lawrenny Estate. With a low level noise policy, you can enjoy the dawn chorus as your wake up call. Each dome has its own garden space complete with a luxury wood-fired hot tub. Unhindered by light pollution, this dark sky reserve is the perfect spot for evening stargazing amidst the soothing waters of the bubbling hot tub.

If the on site gardens, local rambles or wellbeing activities and retreats don’t take your fancy. There is a wealth of local history, landscape and tourist attractions to discover within easy reach of The Little Retreat. Lying within the Pembrokeshire National Park, there is a feast to be had for the eyes. Bursting with rare flora and fauna, sites of historic interest and even a spot of whale and dolphin watching, you’ll not be short on things to do.

A trip to the coast is surely a must, and the Victorian town of Tenby has picture postcard qualities. Inhale some culture at the museum, relax with a spa visit or trot barefoot along one of the blue flag beaches. Head another half an hour west to Freshwater West Beach. Where you can go rock pooling, sandcastle building, surfing or simply delight in the award winning bites from the Café Mor beach food shack.

For families, if the beaches and natural landscapes aren’t enough to fill your days there are plenty of attractions within a 30 minute drive of The Little Retreat. Including Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park and The Dinosaur Park.
