Why not hire electric bikes that are available onsite and explore to explore picturesque villages or the Tarka Trail, or perhaps try out fishing! As you step into The Twit for Twoo you’d be forgiven for not believing that this is an off grid property. Styled with a rustic vibe, the decor is peppered with country inspired accents. It’s a space with true character. The open plan living space is flooded with natural light thanks to the picture window. While quirky furniture offers an inviting space around the toasty log burner to rest your weary feet. A well equipped kitchen area has a single gas hob and a small fridge, plus space to eat. And in your bathroom, you’ll find a sink, loo and an off-grid shower with LPG heated water. Clamber the stairs to the mezzanine level to your comfy double bed. And if you fancy yourself a wannabe bookish daredevil? Cosy up with a snuggly blanket and a good book on the net hammock which overhangs the living space.
Outside
Whilst the picture window of The Twit for Twoo offers the perfect glimpse of the outdoors. Nothing can quite beat reality. Pour yourself a cup of tea and head out onto your veranda, settling onto your outdoor chairs. Preside over the view of rolling hills as you await the perfect temperature to be achieved in your wood fired hot tub. From here you can gaze up at the constellations, your view of the skies unhindered by light pollution. And huddle around the firepit to dry off, toasting a midnight feast or cuddling up for warmth.

The Twit for Twoo is located just ten minutes away from the Tarka Trail. At 180 miles long, it’s the longest traffic free cycle and pathway in the UK. If you enjoy a wetsuit with your adrenaline, head to North Devon Wake Park (twenty-five minutes) for all your water-based fun. For a more relaxing day by the water, within thirty minutes you could be laid out on the golden sands of Westward Ho! And a little further afield could see you in Saunton Sands, Putsborough Beach or Woolacombe. For those who enjoy a bit of history, head to the famed Clovelly. Just thirty minutes away, it’s a traditional fishing village and feels as if you’ve stepped into the past. Another picturesque village on the must-see list is Appledore, also a half hour away. And if you fancy a day trip, you could be in Tintagel. With links to the legends of King Arthur, a walk to Tintagel Castle offers stunning coastal scenery.
