The Yurt Hideaway
The Yurt Hideaway
On a farm in rural Carmarthenshire, Wales, the Yurt Hideaway is a cosy romantic bolthole for couples in the woods. Well behaved dogs are also welcome and are bound to love the country walks and dog friendly beaches of South West Wales. Return to your escape in the woods, where a hot tub beckons, morning, noon or night- if you like stargazing, this is the spot for you. The Yurt Hideaway is a refreshing taste of the simple life for those of us bombarded by modern life. With profits supporting Malawian children through secondary education, a stay here will make a real difference to young lives and communities long into the future.
Inside
Step into cosiness and kick off your worries. Throw yourselves onto your solid oak king sized bed and gaze at the leafy canopy through the roof window directly above you. There is a well equipped kitchen area with an electric hob and fridge, with all the utensils and crockery you might need. The wood burner radiates heat using sustainable logs, keeping your canine friend cosy whatever the weather.
Outside
Tucked away on the edge of the forest, your private patch of paradise has an outdoor cooking area, complete with wood fired pizza oven, BBQ, open fire and an endless supply of logs. We recommend cooking up a pizza on the wood fire or lamb stew on the outdoor tripod, using the fresh herbs on the bank. Your eco washroom Shepherds hut was built on the farm, creating a luxurious double hot shower and toilet, just a few steps away from the yurt. If you like camping with generous amounts of luxury, this is the place for you. Sit back in the hammock or 39 degrees of hot tub bliss, whilst you enjoy the sounds of nature and the simple life.
