Located on a working family farm close to the village of Little Walsingham in Norfolk is Westgate Farm. Situated just six miles away from the North Norfolk Coast, much of which is a designated Area of Natural Beauty. Westgate Farm has two beautiful safari tents, Owl’s Nest and Foxley Lodge. Owl’s Nest is smaller, being ideal for a romantic getaway for couples with a dreamy king size bed. While Foxley Lodge offers accommodation for two to six people. The family sleeping space has two king size beds, plus a double cabin bed, ideal for children. And even the family dog is welcome too. You’ll receive a warm welcome, and will leave refreshed, revitalised and thoroughly spoiled for all future glamping breaks!

Whether you’re headed to Westgate Farm for romance, fun or a little of both, your accommodation won’t fail to impress. Both safari tents are the epitome of wild luxury. Airy and clutter free, each features a soothing neutral palette with rustic accents. The well equipped kitchens are a stunning focal point. With a bespoke, handmade design they come with a microwave oven, induction hob and fridge/freezers. The kitchens are situated within the main living area, with comfy sofas and a space for dining. And if you’re looking to while away a few tranquil hours, you’ll also find a selection of books and games. There’s even a pair of binoculars should you wish to spot the local wildlife. Before you fall into bed at the end of a busy day, you may wish to freshen up in the bathroom. Owl’s Nest features a quirky large round bath, ideal for a decadently deep bubble bath. While Foxley Lodge has the ability to be an outdoor bathroom with the lift and roll of a flap. Is there anything more serene than bathing alongside the sound of gentle birdsong?
Outside
Step outside and on to your spacious veranda. Furnished with sumptuous outdoor sofas and a coffee table to house those all-important beverages. They’re undercover too, which means you can enjoy being outdoors without the drizzle raining on your parade. If the kids have come along, they’ll love running free in the wildflower meadow. Watch from your veranda and with the west facing view, enjoy watching glorious sunsets. And as the day cools into night, light up the firepit and gather around, toasting those marshmallows to gooey perfection.

Westgate Farm is the ideal getaway for those looking to escape to the countryside. Not only do you have the whole county to explore, you are also within easy reach of its beautiful coastline. Hikers will be keen to sample the Norfolk Coast Path. While fans of the seaside may like Wells-next-the-Sea (ten minutes away) with its golden sands. Or the stunning wide bay of Holkham, impressively nestled against a pine forest. Or for a more traditional, picturesque day out, head to Blakeney (seventeen minutes) and enjoy crabbing in the quay. If sea life is your thing, take a boat trip from Morston where you may catch a glimpse of the wild grey seals. You could also enjoy a day out at Holkham Hall (fifteen minutes) and explore the house and gardens. And families with little dinosaur enthusiasts are just thirty minutes from ROARR! A brilliant dino-themed amusement park. Or a little further afield, head for some fun amongst the trees at BeWILDerwood (fifty-five minutes). Here both adults and children alike can explore treehouses and forest trails, on the ground and in the canopy.
