About

Are you ready to turn off your devices and leave behind the stresses of everyday life? Pack those bags and prepare to climb the steps of your very own treetop haven at Wild Welsh Treehouses.

Sited within the heart of the Cambrian Mountains in the Ceredigion countryside are two stunning treehouses. Uniquely designed in a circular style to offer panoramic countryside views. Imagine space to roam and explore, or a place to sit peacefully with a gently lapping stream as your soundtrack. Ty’r Onnen is the more compact of the two. Its remote location lends itself to being a romantic hideaway. Ideal for a break just because, or to celebrate a special occasion. Meanwhile, Ty’r Derw sleeps up to five guests in two bedrooms. Nestled into the woodland, it’s perfect for families, friends or couples who’d just like a little bit more space. Wild Welsh Treehouses offer seclusion and the opportunity to fully recharge those batteries, as well as spending quality time together.

Inside

From both Ty’r Onnen and Ty’r Derw you can expect luxury with a rustic vibe. Glazing is a priority, allowing the outside light to flood the space while framing those magnificent views. Ty’r Onnen is ideal for two. With a studio style kitchen/living space, cosily heated with a log burning stove. And your king size bed is perfectly placed to make the most of those views. Plus, you also have a gorgeous ensuite wet room. Meanwhile, Ty’r Derw has two bedrooms (a double and a twin) with a separate open plan living space and a cosy shower room, with underfloor heating. The fully equipped kitchen is finished with a high-end granite worktop. While the living/dining areas feature bespoke furniture and a log burning stove.

Outside

Throw open the folding doors of Ty’r Onnen and head out onto your balcony. Sit with a drink and enjoy meadow views. Or head down and cook up a storm on the BBQ/firepit before dining al fresco. And if you’re looking for the ultimate reinvigoration? Try the (hot) outdoor shower. Over at Ty’r Derw, patio doors lead out onto the main balcony. With outdoor dining furniture, and a BBQ/firepit – it also features a lower deck. Swing gently in the hammock or soothe away the stress in the hot tub. And if you’re feeling like you need some alone time? Head out onto the second balcony where you’ll find a sumptuous copper tub. Draw yourself a bath and luxuriate in scented bubbles as you gaze at the starry night above.

Nearby

Lace up those hiking boots and explore the beautiful Welsh countryside with multiple trails and footpaths from the treehouse steps. Take in the famed Devil’s Bridge Falls, immortalised by William Wordsworth. If you’re feeling sprightly, take on the challenging climb up Cadair Idris. The highest mountain in South Snowdonia, and one of the Welsh Three Peaks. It’s a challenge worth conquering! Feed the Red Kites at Bwlch Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre or walk among the butterflies at Magic of Life Butterfly House. Wild Welsh Treehouses are located just seven miles away from the vibrant university town of Aberystwyth. Or discover the buzzing market town of Machynlleth. And for a fun family day out, experience the underground storytelling adventure in King Arthur’s Labyrinth. You could even head to the beach. At low tide you can enjoy sandy beaches at Borth and Ynyslas.
