Or snuggle up on the sofa with one of the books from the selection provided. The kitchenette offers a small area for preparing simple meals and snacks. Coming with a microwave oven, induction hob, kettle, toaster and fridge. Enjoy the spoils of your effort at the dining set for two. And later enjoy a competitive board game from the provided collection. Or settle for a great film on the television. And with superfast Wi-Fi included, you can stream to your heart’s content.

Throw open the door of Snowdonia Hideaway and let in that gorgeous fresh mountain air breeze. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the balcony, with its uninterrupted view of Cadair Idris Mountain. Down the staircase you’ll find your separate shower unit, with a loo and hot water. You’ll also find the washing up space outdoors too. And with your own enclosed garden you have a private space in which to bask in the flames of the firepit. Add the grill and you have your own barbecue! Even better, from spring 2024, evenings can reach the peak of relaxation with the introduction of a hot tub.

But the local area and beyond has much to offer besides peace and quiet. Just a half a mile away is Rhydyronen Railway Station. From here you can access the Talyllyn Railway spanning from Tywyn to Nant Gwernol. With an explorer ticket you can hop on and off and explore the area local to the stations. A must see are the waterfalls at Dolgoch and Nant Gwernol. If you fancy a day by the sea, head to Aberdyfi, just fifteen minutes away. This thriving harbour resort offers a lovely beachside location with shops, cafes and eateries to sample. In the nearby town of Twyn is a Twyn Cinema which hosts live music and comedy nights. Or explore more widely. Do you enjoy an adrenaline rush? Try the zip wire and array of underground activities on offer at Zipworld Llechwedd, just an hour away. Built in the 1220s, it is renowned to be the most technologically advanced castle of its era.
