Situated on a smallholding in rural Worcestershire, is Hop Pickers Rural Retreats. Close to the Malvern Hills, it’s the ideal place from which to explore the county as well as neighbouring Herefordshire.
Offering a selection of self-catering properties suited from two to five guests, all being dog friendly. The Barn (five people plus baby) and The Cabin (four people) are the largest properties, with two bedrooms apiece. Each has a king sized master with a second bedroom being a zip/link. Offering the flexibility of a super king/twin formation. The Barn is slightly larger with an additional single bed in the master. Just One Bell Tent (two people) offers a cosy bell tent set up. While those who are in search of a romantic retreat will be thrilled with beautiful The Hideaway (two people).

Inside
Each property at Hop Pickers Rural Retreats has been tastefully decorated to create a warm and welcoming environment. The open plan living nature of The Cabin and The Barn is ideal for families. With their fully equipped kitchens and cosy feel, they’ll have you feeling very much at home. Just One Bell Tent is simple, outdoor living at its finest. The 5m canvas tent houses a super comfy king size bed, along with indoor seating. With it’s converted rice trailer housing a small kitchen space, and a short walk to shower facilities. Meanwhile, The Hideaway is a fantastically furnished shepherd’s hut. The open plan living space includes a king size bed with storage beneath. A sofa to cuddle up on, and a handcrafted kitchen, with a double oven, gas hob and fridge/freezer. An ensuite shower room means there’s no trotting out to the loo in the dark. And the space is kept warm and cosy thanks to underfloor heating. Though you may still be tempted to light the Aga log burner, just to create that all important romantic ambience.

Whichever property suits your needs at Hop Pickers Rural Retreats, you’ll love your outdoor space. Whether it’s the enclosed garden of The Barn, or the decked veranda of The Cabin. And if you’re staying in Just One Bell Tent, you’re spoiled for space! Also having its own private decking to the front is The Hideaway, perfect for romantic al fresco dining. Or drinks beneath the stars. And the cherry on the icing is the private hot tubs at The Barn, The Cabin and The Hideaway.
As for onsite facilities, with the heated outdoor swimming pool available in the summer months. As well as the tennis court, perfect for practising your ace. Explore the woodland walk. But if the weather isn’t given to outdoor pursuits, head to The Cowshed. A brilliant retro games room packed full of things to do for the whole family.

Or explore the local attractions and events. Just twenty minutes from the Three Counties Showground which has a full programme of events throughout the year. The city of Worcester and its cathedral is just fifteen minutes away. And there are a number of historical sites and homes. National Trust managed; Brockhampton, Croome and Croft Castle are between twenty and forty-five minutes away. With English Heritage site, Leigh Court Barn being just a few minutes down the road.
