Discover the charms of the Causeway North Coast in style.
Located within their own meadow on a three-hundred acre dairy fairy in North Antrim is Causeway Country Pods. The perfect spot from which to explore the Causeway North Coast of Northern Ireland. Here, you are within an easy drive of one of the most awe-inspiring landmarks in the world. As well as the beautiful coastline and gorgeous beaches looking out to the Atlantic Ocean.
Three pods; Priestland, Ballytober and Dunlace sit side by side observing beautiful countryside views. Ideal for romantic breaks for couples, or a solo trip to escape from it all. Despite the rural location, it is within a short drive of the small village of Bushmills. Offering a small selection of restaurants and a shop. With the nearest town, Portrush, with its shops, cafes, amusements, eateries and beaches, being just a ten minute drive.
Each glamping pod at Causeway Country Pods is ideally sized for two. Enter through the fully glazed doors into the open plan living space. A sofa sits at the front of the pod, perfectly located for those countryside views – or the wall mounted tv! The comfy double bed is sited in just the right spot to enjoy views from the comfort of your bed. While you’ll find your kitchenette area to the back. Coming with a drinks cooler, kettle, toaster and a microwave as well as a sink. And to the side of the kitchen is your lovely ensuite shower room.
All three glamping pods at Causeway Country Pods have their own private outdoor seating space. If you fancy being chef for the night, cook al fresco on the BBQ grill over the firepit. And tucked away at the side for privacy, is your private hot tub. Keep your hair dry even if the rain is torrential thanks to the overhead cover. Or slide it back and lose yourself in the sight above. In this remote location the stars shine so bright its hypnotisingly beautiful.
Causeway Country Pods are in a fantastic location with lots to see and do! Just ten minutes away is the seaside town of Portrush. A popular tourist destination since Victorian times, the Blue flag beaches are a must visit. And if you’re a fan of water sports, learn to surf at Portrush Surf School. Sample a taste of Northern Irish history within the ruins of Dunlace Castle, just a few minutes’ drive away. If you’re a whiskey drinker, be sure to visit Bushmills Distillery. The oldest licensed distillery in the world, and it’s practically on your doorstep, just five minutes away. And no trip to the area would be complete without a visit to the Giant’s Causeway. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, mainly under the management of the National Trust. It’s an iconic Northern Irish attraction, and it’s just over a ten minute drive away.
