Striking from first glance, the camouflage design was inspired by patterns used to conceal ships in WWI, and the ship theme is continued throughout. Careful attention has been paid to every detail at Dazzle Treehouse. The result is the most incredible and unusual romantic hideaway. Set in beautiful West Dorset woodland, it’s a getaway steeped in nature. But there’s no compromise in terms of luxury. With quirky features and plenty to do and see in the surrounding area (if you can tear yourselves away!) This is one unforgettable property.

Inside

Minimalist modern design and natural materials create a spacious and luxurious feel.  Feel the sunlight to pour in to the open plan interior through the ample glass and skylights.  Create some suitably modern culinary twists and well designed meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Snuggle up together when the evening turns cooler or in wilder weather, and batten down the hatches. A white but warming modern log burner in the central space between living, dining and sleeping areas.

Doze beneath the stars on the sky lit king sized bed. When the morning light floods in, lounge with a long lie in together and fuel your morning with fresh Nespresso coffee. Then hop into your gorgeous shower room to freshen up surrounded by dazzling tiling and woodwork reminiscent of an Escher artwork.

Outside

The inside is impressive, but oh my goodness – the outside! Catch some sun on your prow-shaped private deck which continues the nautical theme. Throw open the doors and live inside out alongside the surrounding woodland. Escape the repetitiveness of everyday life in this inspiring and tranquil place.

Open the serving hatch from the kitchen and pass your companion some succulent treats or canapes to enjoy on the outside dining deck. An overhead canopy and a firepit ensure a usable space regardless of the season. Rock gently in the comfy hammock with your favourite read or podcast. Throw together some dazzling pizza toppings and flash cook until crisp and oozing in the outdoor pizza oven. Or if you prefer, throw some steaks on the BBQ grill. Later, float above the ground as you recline on the cargo net daybed. Finally, relax into the heat and bubbles of the seriously gorgeous hot tub. Enjoying birdsong and the gentle rustle of leaves as you immerse yourselves in this way of life in the trees.

Dazzle Treehouse is set in the rolling hills and woodland of rural West Dorset. Should you feel the need to explore, there is plenty to do locally.

Outdoor adventurers will appreciate the natural beauty of the area, and a hike to Pilsden Pen is recommended for the superb views. Foodies will be excited to learn that the treehouse is only a few miles away from Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage, where apart from dining, you can try your hand at an array of River Cottage Courses such as seashore foraging and home cheese making. Bridport Farmers Market is half an hour away, and along the coast you will find unspoilt seashore spots and clifftop walks.
