Presiding over the view of rolling wooded hills above the Exe Valley. Or listening to the waterfall in quiet contentment. This is a space that has all the benefits of being easy to get to while being well located for exploring further afield. Yet feels as if it is in the vast middle of nowhere.

Sleeping up to two, it’s ideal for couples. But also for solo travellers who perhaps need a little bit of space and time to themselves. Wi-Fi is available, if needed. But we recommend placing your devices into the provided lockbox and enjoying a digital detox. And you can be assured of its eco credentials too. The brilliantly well-equipped kitchen comes with a great range of appliances. An induction hob, oven, kettle, toaster, fridge and even a dishwasher. The king sized bed is at the rear, accessed through the Mughal arch. As is the lovely shower room, which can be found behind the rustic Indian sliding door.
