Located on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds and a short drive from the coast the farm is surrounded by wildlife with scenic walks from the door. Perfect for groups or extended family due to the flexibility of having multiple large cottages, be that a reunion of friends or family, or even a gathering of hens celebrating their bride. With optional added extras, such as in-cottage spa treatments, even a pamper session or yoga class. And if you have a special occasion, hire the private chef for the evening, or await delivery of your delicious catered buffet.

All are furnished to a high quality, with upholstery and styles in keeping with the country cottage theme that runs throughout. Original beams, wood accents and heritage colours, with a more modern neutral palette complementing the decor. As these are self-catering cottages, the kitchen is the hub of the house. Well-equipped and stylish, with dining tables and chairs to cater for the feasts you may well whip up. The living space is cosy, with tv and Wi-Fi on hand for entertainment. Or snuggle into the comfy sofas and curl up with a good book. And make sure the log burner is crackling nearby to really set the scene.

Observe the surrounding countryside views or get out and about on the farm, meeting the resident sheep and chickens.

Broadgate Farm Cottages offers the best of both worlds. All at once a rural idyll, and a well located base for exploration of the local area and beyond. Just a couple of miles from the historic market town of Beverley, with its famed Minster and Beverley Racecourse, full of charming pubs and fabulous restaurants. Why not go to the market on Saturday for a taste of fresh local produce. Also nearby is the city of Hull: take in marine life at The Deep, and later take the foot bridge across to the Marina where you can sample the many bars and restaurants in this regenerated area or see a performance at Hull Truck Theatre, or Hull New Theatre. If you’re feeling more outdoorsy, there are scenic walks from the door and wonderful wildlife reserves close by, and for guests with children you’re just minutes away from Williams Den. An amazing day out for kids! A little further afield (forty-five minutes) is the historic city of York. Explore The Shambles, walk the city walls, or get to grips with the city’s Viking roots at Jorvik. Alternatively, escape to the beach and discover the Yorkshire Coast. You’ll find Hornsea, Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough all reachable within 30 minutes to an hour. With the traditional fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay and nearby Whitby being slightly further afield.
